New Members

Joining Instructions

So, after running with us in-game or reading about the guild, you've decided to join? Here's how:

Read our Guild Charter here; you must agree to abide by the charter to join.
Register on this forum. Unfortunately, you will need to go through an email verification/approval process (sorry, we have spammers to thank for this).
Once you have joined the forum, you need to post an application here. This also gives current members a chance to say hello while you are waiting for your application approval. Please note, this is the only place you can post once you join the forum and before your application is approved. Most application are approved within 48 hours. Check back often; you will get your approval in your application's topic as a reply to your post.
If approved (very few people have been denied in our 2+ years) you will be sent an in-game invite to your main toon, and any other toons you request membership for in your application.
Once you become a member in the guild, you will be on probation for 30 days, just to make sure we are a good fit, but you will have full forum rights, including the member only forums.
After you have been invited, we do require your characters be listed on the Guild Roster. The link to the roster is posted in the Member's Only forum.

Welcome Calamitonians

Welcome to our new site! I hope you will enjoy and appreciate all of the benefits it has to offer. I am sure we will be tweaking it for some time to come.

If you find any problems, have suggestions, or would like to submit a request, please do so here. If you don't want it public, send me, Mike, or any officer a PM. Some options may very well be set wrong and some available items may not have been enabled. Just because a decision was made when we were creating the site, does not mean this decision is written in stone. Many things are customizable, if they are not setup, it could simply mean we missed it or planned on returning to it later.

But, before you send something about the color scheme, please be aware this one was chosen simply for it's visibility. This is the area where most of the future tweaks will be made, as well as adding graphics. If you have experience working with graphics and want to help, let us know!

This site is free, but it does have a pay option, which we have already utilized to remove ads. There is still a guild fund being managed by Mike and we do still have a positive balance; I can assure you the rest of this money will not go to waste.

My most important priority with the site is security. Please let me know immediately if you notice a security hole. For example, if you are kicking around as a guest and discover you have access to the Officer's Quarters, or you can post in a restricted area, please report this information to me as soon as you can.
